how does the new weather code work?

Still can't get the weather to work. Entered my zip code at weather.com as instructed and put the section after /today/ (in the US it shows up as /today/[City]+[ST]+[zipcode]) and I still get a force close when I try to tap on the weather icon for more info. Though now instead of the N/A icon I see a sun with a cloud over it, a leaf, a blue globe? and what I can best describe as a hotdog with a white end? Any thoughts? Using HTC Desire.

I updated to 2.9.5 and it seems the "msn.weather.com" code is still the one which is working. "www.weather.com" does not work.

Type your city then select it from the pulldown menu. If you type in your zip code it won't work. I made this mistake.. "www.weather.com" works just fine..

"www.weather.com" is working fine, but the code I get is not working with the widget. I still use the "weather.msn.com" (sorry for the typo above) code, which works.

I have downloaded the newest version and am running on an Android 2.0. I cannot get the weather to work. I have used the suggestions here such as using the weather.msn.com location 153974273 and I get nothing. Also get force close when I click on the clock.

I think people may be entering codes that are "too specific." I was having the same problem when I was entering the code for a small suburb of Seattle. I then entered the code for Seattle and everything worked as expected. I would suggest that those running into issues find the codes for the nearest city of decent size.

I am in India. Installed the app from Market. Don't see any field to enter weather code. Can type "Mumbai, In" and it shows Mumbai,IND and save option. But shows an X instead of weather information. Otherwise an awesome application, would be my best if the weather worked !!

Correction - If I enter "Delhi" it works, it appears only "Mumbai" does not work. Any ideas ?
